Contest with Corpus F.army - Regulations:

 

  1. The contest is open to stationary participants of the 8th Students International Conference ’Frontiers in Neurology, Neurophysiology and Neuropharmacology’.

  2. Participation is free of charge.

  3. The contest will take place during the Conference on 19th and 20th of April.

  4. The contest will be held on Kahoot and will contain five single choice questions related to educational posts shared on our Instagram account @sknneurofizjologowump (https://www.instagram.com/sknneurofizjologowump/guide/educational-posts/17911308098512872/).

  5. The room code for the quiz will be shared during the Conference.

  6. Winners will be selected according to the correct answers and time of solving the quiz.

  7. Prizes are as followed:

1st place: annual access to the Corpus F.army platform and Corpus F.army Mind.Book,

2nd place: three-month access to the Corpus F.army platform,

3rd place: Corpus F.army set of gadgets.

  1. The Corpus F.army platform and Mind.Book content is in Polish.

  2. Participants must sign their full name and e-mail address in the form.

  3. Participants give their consent to the data processing by filling in the form.

Regulations

§1. General regulations

 

1. 7th Students International Conference “Frontiers in Neurology, Neurophysiology, and Neuropharmacology” will take place in PoznaÅ„, in the hall for them. Różycki in Collegium Anatomicum (6 ÅšwiÄ™cickiego St.), and online, April 9th, 2022 (Saturday).

1.1 The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the form of the conference to online, depending on the epidemiology situation.     

1.2 Participants are obliged to comply with the sanitary regime while attending Collegium Anatomicum.

 

2. The conference will consist of the experts’ and students’ sessions.

2.1 Expert session

Extensive research in recent decades has expanded our insights into vast areas of neuroscience. With our panel discussion, we are bringing together renowned professors and prominent researchers.

2.2 Student Session

Participants will have the opportunity to present their research to the professional audience in the way of oral presentation supported by PowerPoint presentation. Time: 10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions and discussion.

 

3. Conference language is English. Participation is free of charge.

 

4. While signing up for the Conference, an individual certifies that they have read, understood, and accepted the Conference regulations.

 

5. While signing up for the Conference, an individual agrees to process personal data in order to create name tags of participants and participation certificates. Moreover, presenters of the Student and Expert Session agree to have their name published in the Conference promotional materials including, but not limited to, posters and social media posts.

 

6. Participants agree to be recorded during the Conference. Pictures of participants, taken during the Conference, might be published on the Conference's and the Organizing Committee's social media accounts.

 

7. Depending on the situation, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the regulations.

 

8. Interpretation of these regulations and settlement of any problems, which are not included in regulations, should be resolved by the Organizing Committee.

 

§ 2. Abstract guidelines

 

1. Original review articles and case reports on all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis, and management of neurological disorders, as well as related molecular genetics, pathophysiology, and epidemiology are welcomed.

Papers covering the future meaning of neurosciences in our lives and when our knowledge as humankind will also be accepted.

 

2. All qualified abstracts will be published in the journal “Issue of Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Neurophysiology, and Sport Promotion.” (IRONS, MNiSW score = 20 points) and presented at the Conference. The best articles will be rewarded by the opportunity of a full article being published in a regular edition of the magazine.

 

3. SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS AND PAPERS FOR STUDENTS’ SESSION – DEADLINE - March 20th, 2024

§ 3. Regulations of presentations

 

1. The presenting author is allowed to keep the time of the presentation precisely. The author is obliged to stick to the time on their own. When possible, there would be time left displayed on the screen. Presentations, taking more than the time limit, can be interrupted by the Organizer.

 

2. The official language of presentation is English. All displaying authors should be able to present the paper and respond to the questions in English.

Due to the current epidemiological situation, the sessions of the 7th Students International Conference "Frontiers in Neurology, Neurophysiology, and Neuropharmacology" will be held partially via online video communication in English. The platform used for real-time connection is Click Meeting (www.clickmeeting.com).

 

3. Multimedia presentations may be prepared using any application. The Organizer highly recommends *.pptx or *.pdf files. Using other types of files than recommended is the participant's responsibility. The Organizer’s advice to every participant is to have an additional copy of the presentation saved in *.pdf format. The presentation is shared with Jury Members, Session Coordinators, session participants, and other people entitled by the Organizer. The presenter is responsible for the correct functioning of the presentation during the online video communication. It is not recommended to include video recordings in the presentations, because their correct display may be impossible due to various problems with the internet connection. Organizers are not responsible for any problems from the participant side, such as an internet connection or other technical issues.

 

4. Multimedia presentations should be sent via email to sknneurofizjologow@gmail.com.

 

5. Presentations will take place according to a schedule set by the Organizers.

The schedule will be shared with participants at least 3 days before the Conference. Mail confirmation of presenting authors' availability according to the sessions schedule is required at least 2 days before the Conference. Further details for online presenting authors will be provided in the email information.

 

6. Each author is obligated to be present at the Conference place or to log in for the online video communication room-specific for the session at least 20 minutes before the session start. 

 

7. The presentation may last maximally 10 minutes. Presentations exceeding the time limit may be interrupted by the Organizer, a Jury Member, or a Session Coordinator.

Using less time is not a problem and will not affect the grading of the presentation.

 

8. In case of exceeding the time by more than 5 minutes, the Coordinator is privileged to stop the presentation – in this case, the discussion does not take place (and the participant receives 0 points for discussion).

 

9. The online presenting person must be equipped with a computer with an operable camera and microphone. The camera should show the figure of the participant, including the whole face and upper limbs.

9.1 During the discussion phase, the microphone of the presenter cannot be muted.

9.2 In cases where cheating is suspected, the Organizer is allowed to review the footage of the session and decertify the cheater.

 

10. When the presentation transmission is interrupted and less than 60% of the given time has passed, the participant is allowed to come out again at the end of the current session.

 

11. When more than 60% of the given time has passed, the presentation is evaluated and the participant is not allowed to answer the questions at the end of the current session.

 

12. The participant must agree to be recorded during the Conference.

 

13. In case of any non-adherence to the terms of the Conference’ principles of presentations and discussions, or in case of problems from the participant side (in particular internet connection or other technical problems if presenting online) the participant may be disqualified by the Organizer or a Jury Member.

 

§ 4. Privacy policy

 

Please be advised that by art. 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) hereinafter "GDPR" the following applies:

  • 1.  The administrator of personal data is Poznan University of Medical Sciences. In all matters concerning the processing of personal data and the use of rights related to their processing, you can contact the Data Protection Supervisor at the following address: e-mail: abi.ump@ump.edu.pl

  • 2. Your personal data is processed in connection with the participation in the event and sending certificates of presentation.

  • 3. The course of the event: 7th International Conference "Frontiers in Neurology, Neurophysiology, and Neuropharmacology" is covered by publishing photo reports on the websites of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences.

  • 4. Your personal data will not be transferred to other entities.

  • 5. You have the right to obtain information regarding processing by the Poznan University of Medical Sciences about personal data, demanding their rectification, removal, or limitation of the processing of their data, the right to transfer the data provided, and the right to object to the processing.

  • 6. You have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law.

  • 7. Personal Data Administrator - Poznan University of Medical Sciences ul. Fredry 10, 61-701 PoznaÅ„ informs that:

  1. You have the right to access your data and rectify it, delete it, limit processing, the right to transfer data, the right to be forgotten, the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.

  2. Data can be made available by the Poznan University of Medical Sciences ul. Fredry 10, 61-701 Poznań, to entities authorized to obtain information.

  3.  The given data will be processed based on art. 6 par. 1 point a) and following the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 (RODO (GDPR)) of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95 / 46 / EC (general regulation on data protection) (DZ.U.U.L.2016.119.1.) - from 25 May 2018.
